Which certifications should Spanish and LATAM buyers look for?

ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II are the baseline. LATAM buyers processing personal data at scale increasingly ask for LGPD-aligned controls (Brazil) and evidence of secure LATAM hosting. Spanish public-sector buyers may additionally reference ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) when comparing terms of service vendors.

Spanish and Latin American buyers usually favour terms of service vendors with Spanish-language support, multi-currency billing (EUR and USD) and clear data-protection practices. The terms of service shortlist above reflects the tools we see performing well across Spain and LATAM.
